EXPERIENCE:
Alhamdulilah, I completed my Alimiyyah course at Jamiatul Ilm Wal Huda, Blackburn. I also completed my Sab’ah and Thalaathath Qira’ah during my period at Jamiatul Ilm Wal Huda.
After my studies I took a gap-year to go around the world, to see my Muslim brothers and sister and how they practised their Islam and to find out what it meant to them to be a Muslim in the 21st century living in their country. Some of the places I visited included, Sri Lanka, India, Bangladesh, France, Belgium, Germany and Sweden.
After my gap-year, I returned to my studies for an optional additional year of studies, where we dealt with real life scenarios where people would write in or personally come in with questions to seek advice from my teachers, so I worked along with my teachers and through their guidance I was able to help my community resolve any issues they had.
Alhamdulilah, I have been teaching Aalim course and Humanities and Geography at Rochdale Islamic Academy-Boys division since 2015 and my ambition is to motivate my students so that they become strong individuals with a strong work ethic to enable them to achieve success in their lives.
I have also been teaching maktab at Shah Jalal Academy, Rochdale on a part-time basis and I try to help with organising educational programmes for the Masjid. I also take part and organise many events with Jalalia Jaame Mosque, Rochdale to help my community.
