We believe it is the right of everyone at RIAB to feel safe and secure in their learning environment, and have stringent policies and procedures in place to make sure this is adhered to in practice. Everyone has a right to feel safe & happy in our school, and no form of bullying is acceptable and nor will it be tolerated. If you or someone else is being bullied, it is important that you don’t suffer in silence. Please speak to a teacher, or you can also approach our pastoral and well-being team. Together we can ensure that RIAB is a bully-free zone.
As part of our schools continuous efforts to tackle bullying, our students annually participate in Anti-Bullying Week and other similar workshops and lessons to help raise awareness of the harms of bullying. The anti-bullying message is also delivered from an Islamic perspective following teachings from the Quran and Hadith of our beloved Prophet Muhammed (SAW).
Anti-Bullying Week raises the awareness of issues surrounding bullying amongst our students, parents and teachers, as well as promoting ways on how to respond to and prevent bullying in our midst.
