My name is Syed Mukarram Hussain, and I am proud to be a teacher of Rochdale Islamic Academy! I am from Rochdale, Alhamdullilah I have completed the memorisation of the Quran (Hifz), BA Honours in Islamic theology (Alimiyyah), 10 modes of reciting the Qur’an (Qiraat) and advanced jurisprudence (Iftaa).
I am a dedicated, resourceful and goal-driven professional educator with a solid commitment to the social and academic growth and development of every child that I teach. I believe myself to be an accommodating and versatile individual with the talent to develop inspiring hands-on lessons that will capture a child’s imagination and breed success.
Currently I am teaching Islamic studies and Arabic to year 7 till 11 in Rochdale Islamic Academy. I have a true passion for working with our youngest learners!! Helping each child progress in all areas of their development, academic, social, spiritual, language, and it is a challenge that I am honoured to accept daily. I strive to create a community of learners that nurtures this growth in a positive, fun environment.
